PLEASE NOTE: The duration (30/60 mins) is for the whole experience not the duration per person. Our venue is strictly 18+ after 7pm. Before these times under 18s are absolutely welcome but must be supervised by an adult.

How to throw an axe?
Our epic axe throwing instructors will teach you how to throw an axe and sharpen your throw throughout your session.
Is axe throwing dangerous?
Our axe instructors will ensure safety throughout your Axe Throwing session. To ensure your session is as safe as possible, guests will be required to tie back long hair and wear closed toe shoes without a heel.
Is there an age restriction on Axe Throwing?
Yes, Axe Throwing is 18+ at all times.
Can I drink alcohol before and during my experience?
No alcohol is allowed before or during your experience at BOOM BATTLE BAR Glasgow.
You may be refused to play your session if you’ve been drinking (or we believe you have) before your session. Don’t worry, you can hit the bar and get a round in after your axe throwing session ends.
How long does the Axe Throwing session last?
You can choose from a 30 minute or 60 minute session, this is the entirety of the experience and not the amount of time played per person.
How much is Axe Throwing?
Axe Throwing at BOOM BATTLE BAR starts from £9pp. The price per person varies depending on your group size and the day of the week.
Do you throw real axes?
Yep! Our pro axe instructors will teach you the ropes.
Can I play Axe Throwing if I’m pregnant?
Axe Throwing is generally safe to play whilst pregnant, it can be more physically challenging than our other experiences. If you have any concerns, please consult with your GP or midwife before playing.
Can I wear heels or sandals?
Open toe shoes and heels aren’t permitted when throwing axes at BOOM BATTLE BAR.
Can I stay after axe throwing?
Yes! The party doesn’t end after your axe throwing session. Try your hand at our other games or stick around for banging BOOM bites street food and next level cocktails and drinks. You can find our other games here.
